"HONEY"
Because I lived through those seconds of the fall.
I remained alive. Even as I met the ground.
The way we live now encourages competition, connections instead of friends, views, quick hits, getting ahead, and being at the top. But it wasn’t always like this, there was a time when we knew how to work with one another, not hesitate in our risks and fully trust.
HONEY explores the origins of loneliness, greed, and anxiety in the modern world and dares to take us back to our poetic and uninhibited roots in nature and togetherness.
“We’re all on the edge of the cliff
In a world of endless repetition, bystanders to our own lives,
paralyzed in the daily grind.
The ground is shifting beneath our feet
The cracks are beginning to form
The rumble quickens within us
Should we give our hearts to chance and possibility-
- or stay with what we know?”
HONEY will be the ensemble’s first and final live performance for 2021, having worked on it since June. We hope you will jump back into the thrill of live performance with us!
