The Brandon Allen Allstar Sextet

Perth born saxophonist Brandon Allen relocated to London in 2000.

Over the past 20 years he has established himself as one of the most in demand saxophonists in the UK and Europe. In 2012, he founded The Brandon Allen Sextet, producing new arrangements that featured some of the top jazz/session musicians in the UK.

For this evening at Jazzlab, Brandon will be bringing these arrangements and will be collaborating with an Allstar lineup made up of some of Australia's most highly regarded musicians. The group will be performing these reworkings of music by Ellington, Mingus, Gershwin, Cole Porter, Chick Corea, Stanley Turrentine, Michel Legrand, Freddie Hubbard and much more...
