When are we going to be happy?

When the pandemic is over? When we lose those COVID kilos? When we finally meet someone, get a nicer place to live, upgrade the car, unpack the trauma from our childhood, or leave that soul-crushing job?

If we’re waiting for happiness, we’re going to be waiting for a long time. Forever, probably. Other people or circumstances can’t make us happy; happiness is an inside job. It’s up to us.
