Art and Music Series: Portrait of a Lady

Enjoy an evening or afternoon of gorgeous music paired with artwork and a collector’s discussion at the historical, Villa Alba.

On the 25th and 26th of February, 3MBS presents the inaugural Art & Music Series at Villa Alba in Kew – the next event in the Made in Melbourne program.

Titled Portrait of a Lady, these events will begin with a talk from 3MBS presenter and collector, John Wilkinson about seminal works by female artists including Audrey Penn, Agnes Reeve, Dorothy Allen Edwards, Christian Waller, and others.

Following either supper, or afternoon tea, will be an intimate recital by Kaori Sparks (violin) and Helena Kernaghan (piano) of the acclaimed Orpheus Trio who have paired a gorgeous program of works with the artwork on display:
