Celebrate Winter Solstice

The shortest day of the year is almost here, and Eynesbury is celebrating with its popular Winter Solstice event on the evening of Saturday 1 July, including a bonfire, fire performers, African drummers, food trucks and a fireworks display.

The Winter Solstice event has something for everyone, with locals and visitors welcome to join in the festivities. Come down and toast some marshmallows on the bonfire or grab a bite to eat – there’ll be food trucks galore.

The ice-skating rink will also be open for kids and adults, with skate hire available. This activity is always a highlight and is likely to sell out so you’re encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment.

An easy 40-minute drive from Melbourne’s CBD, the Eynesbury Winter Festival (which runs from 23 June – 9 July) is a must-do activity during the upcoming Victorian school holidays.
