The Noosa International Food and Wine Festival has unveiled its delicious program for this year to celebrate its 10th birthday.
As the foremost annual culinary festival on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, the 10th anniversary has drawn illustrious chefs from the S.Pellegrino List to tempt tastebuds and teach talents to attendees. Included in this year's line-up are Australian chefs Mark Best, Tetsuya Wakuda, Ben Shewry, Peter Gilmore and David Thompson, plus international celebrities Andre Chiang, Mauro Colagreco, Carlo Cracco, David Kinch, and Yoshahiro Narisawa.
The program is bursting with presentations, cooking demonstrations, degustations and banquet dinners, wine and cocktail offerings, talks and tastings - many located in pictureque settings, overlooking breathtaking views, along trail walks, or soundtracked with a stringed quartet.
The Gala Opening Night Celebration and Qantas Premier International Degustation Dinner (previously known as the "Best Dinner in the World") return as festival favourites, as well as the expert combining of culinary and aural delights, with music as much a part of the menu as the food and wine.
Over two hundred chefs will take part throughout the entire festival, plus winemakers, mixologists, sommeliers, producers, food personalities and media.
Tickets go on sale Monday 14 January.
